2010 Season Calendar of Events

May 8th  Mother's Day Event

Children will have the opportunity to paint a flowerpot for their mothers.  The first 20 mothers to visit the market will receive a Virginia Grown reusable shopping tote.  Mothers can enter to win a $20 Farmers Market Gift Certificate.

June 19th  Father's Day Event

Chef Demonstration of foods our dads would love.  Dads can register to win a $20 Farmers Market Gift Certificate.

July 10th  Pie Palooza

This is our second annual pie contest.  Last year's contest proved to be very competitive.  There will be three divisions competing with a grand prize winner.  The grand prize will take home a trophy and Gift Certificate.

August 14th Canning Expo

Canning is becoming a lost art.  This Expo will give you the opportunity to learn more about canning and give those who already can the opportunity to show off some of their work.

October 2nd Chili Cook-Off
